Telephone Pictionary
Draw it, guess it, draw the guess, and watch the message fall apart.
5–30 players · about 20 minutes · Calm / mind game · Small room, Big room
What you need
- A stack of small paper slips or a booklet per player
- Pens
Setup
Sit in circles of 5–10. Everyone writes a phrase on the first page of their booklet (a Bible story works great).
How to play
- Pass the booklet left. The next player draws the phrase on a new page.
- Pass again. The next player looks only at the drawing and writes what they think it is.
- Keep alternating drawing and writing until the booklet comes back.
- Read each booklet out loud from start to finish.
How to win
No winner. The fun is in seeing how "Jonah and the whale" turned into "a man eating a hot dog."
