Pin Guard (Bowling Pin Dodgeball)
Knock down the other team's pins while you defend your own.
10–40 players · about 15 minutes · Run around · Gym, Big room
What you need
- 4–8 soft dodgeballs
- 6–10 bowling pins, 2-liter bottles, or cones
Setup
Set each team's pins in a row near their back wall. Split into two teams.
How to play
- Throw balls to knock over the other team's pins, or hit players.
- Players who are hit sit on the side and come back when their team knocks down a pin.
- You may not stand directly in front of your own pins blocking them, but you can block balls with your body or catch them.
How to win
First team to knock over all of the other team's pins wins.
Leader tips
- Water bottles partly filled with water make cheap, sturdy pins.
Safety: Soft foam balls only. Make a rule that players don't dive at pins.
